Hey everyone!
I’m thrilled to share Cave Critters, a 2D game developed with my old schoolmates during our game design education at Futuregames (2020-2022). This project has the potential to become a relaxing mobile game.
The journey of creating Cave Critters was filled with both challenges and triumphs. We faced significant communication issues between programmers and designers, and some team members were less engaged, even ghosting at times. Balancing full-time work, studies, and parenthood, I encountered many hurdles, especially as deadlines loomed.
Despite these obstacles, some team members truly shone, giving their all to the project. Without the right assets in the Unity store, I took it upon myself to purchase all the main assets, add-ons, and plugins. The clever 2D assets you see in the game were all handpicked to create a level design with embedded collisions.
